Manufacturing Process
 
Pattern type : We used the loose as well as match plate mounted pattern. Patterns are made up of aluminium, wood.
Melting Practice : Induction furnace, medium frequency.
Type of furnace :250 KW VIP Power track medium frequency induction Furnace
Size of furnace crucible : 300 Kg-2 Nos.
   
Casting pouring capacity
Single Piece casting :For steel Min. 0.5 Kg to 175 Kg. For CI casting 0.5 Kg to 250 Kg.
Monthly melting capacity :90 MTS.
 
Sand For molding & core making
Types of sand a) Gas tigers CO2 process- for steel & stainless steel casting molds.
b) No bake system-two part & three part system- for core & mold making.
c) Green sand molding-for small CI castings.
 
Sand testing methods
a) AFS NO. : Ensure AFS NO. by sleeve analysis manufactured by KELSON INDUSTRIES.
b) Moisture : We use 100% dry sand. Ensure that sand is dry by checking moisture analysis in lab.
c) Permeability : We use 100% fresh sand & permeability is maintain for all batches.
d) Hardness : Ensure mold hardness by mold & core hardness tester.
 

Green sand system
  • Moisture: Ensure moisture by moisture analysis.
  • AFS NO.: Ensure AFS NO. by sleeve analysis manufactured by KELSON INDUSTRIES.
  • Hardness: Ensure mold hardness by mold & core hardness tester.

Heat treatment
In heat treatment we do Annealing, Normalizing, Stress reliving & water quenching.
  • Type of furnace: Oil fired 750Kg. capacity furnace.
  • Furnace consist of PID controller, to ram to.soak double out put, With high velocity burners, movable trolley & ceramic modular lining.
  • Max. Temperature 1200 Deg. C.
  • For stainless steel casting water quenching: Lifting hoist of 1000 Kg & water tank Ceramic Casting - Ceramic casting of impellers, Guide Vane etc.
